New Bridgnorth Jazz in Bridgnorth, Shropshire.



On the first Sunday of every month, the New Bridgnorth Jazz group hosts an afternoon of live Jazz at the historic Garden Bar in Bridgnorth. Entrance is free but donations are welcome.

Expect good vibes, great tunes and a laid-back lunchtime session. Food available for purchase.

Return visit of Alan Barnes and Dave Newton two major award winning Jazz musicians both highly regarded world class musicians. A real privilege to host them at the garden bar. Look them up.

Recreating the wonderful sound of the great Cannonball Adderley Quintet of the late 50s/early 60s using faithful transcriptions of the originals. A great lineup of musicians with vocals.

The Garden Bar is the oldest building in Bridgnorth, dating from between 1392 and 1422. It provides the perfect setting for our Jazz events.
It is at 6 Bridge Street, Low Town, Bridgnorth, WV15 6AF.

Car Parking at the nearby Severn Street Car Park is free on a Sunday, so take advantage of that to pay us a visit.
