New Bridgnorth Jazz in Bridgnorth, Shropshire.


On the first Sunday of every month, the New Bridgnorth Jazz group hosts an afternoon of live Jazz at the historic Garden Bar in Bridgnorth. Entrance is free but donations are welcome.

7th December High Society

High Society was established by Paul Sawtell (keyboard) and Jeff Matthews (clarinet) as a duo. This new format for the December gig is led by Jeff Matthews with Jim Wynn replacing Paul Sawtell on keyboard and with Val Sinclair on vocals, Matt Donaldson on bass and Larry Tench on drums.

Expect good vibes, great tunes and a laid-back lunchtime session from this toe tapping five piece band. Food available for purchase.

The Garden Bar is the oldest building in Bridgnorth, dating from between 1392 and 1422. It provides the perfect setting for our Jazz events.
